We are seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer / System Administrator to join our expanding team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining, optimizing, and improving our infrastructure and systems.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong technical background and experience in DevOps and system administration. You should have a good understanding of cloud infrastructure, containers, networking principles, and scripting languages. The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is essential.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and administering our cloud infrastructure, monitoring systems, and networking components
- Ensuring the security and availability of our services and systems
- Monitor system performance and availability
- Design and implement scalable solutions
- Implement, maintain and continously improve automation tools for system provisioning and deployment
- Collaborating with development teams to design and implement scalable solutions
- Identify and resolve infrastructure and system issues
- Ensure security and compliance of systems
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps or system administration
- Strong experience with Containers and Container Orchestration Tools (e.g. Swarm, k8s, nomad)
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Knowledge of networking principles and protocols
- Understanding of security best practices
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with log management and monitoring tools (e.g Kibana).
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of Standard API Gateway solutions (e.g Kong, Tyk, Apigee)
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiary with Agile methodologies
