With this objective in mind, we are currently searching for a talented and adaptable individual to assume the combined role of Scrum Master / Product Owner within our team. As a vital member of our organization, you will play a crucial part in spearheading the agile development process, cultivating a collaborative environment, and overseeing the complete product development lifecycle to ensure efficient project delivery.

Your Purpose:

In this role, your purpose will be in the area of agile coaching as a product owner :


  • Agile coaching
    • Act as an agile facilitator, ensuring the team follow scrum framework effectively.
    • Foster collaboration and communication amongst team members, stakeholders and other cross functional teams to drive successful project delivery and product outcome.
  • Product owner
    • Oversee end-to-end project management processes including sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews and retrospectives to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
    • Gather requirements from stakeholders, analyse user needs, and translate them into actionable user stories and backlog items.
    • Collaborate closely with the development team to define acceptance criteria, review completed work, and ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations.


Your main duties and responsibilities for this role include:


  • Agile coach
    • Guide the team in adopting and implementing agile principles, values, and best practices to deliver value incrementally.
    • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to ensure effective communication and progress tracking.
    • Identify and resolve impediments and obstacles that hinder the team's productivity, leveraging strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
    • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in agile practices, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing relevant changes.
  • Product Owner
    • Work closely with the development team to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and provide guidance on scope and priorities.
    • Monitor and track team progress, providing timely and accurate status updates to stakeholders, management, and the organization.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of business objective
    • Incorporate feature requests into product roadmap.
    • Prioritize and refine the product backlog based on value, risk, and dependencies, ensuring it aligns with business priorities.
    • Write user stories and define acceptance criteria
    • Review and accept completed work to ensure it meets acceptance criteria and quality standards
    • Regularly gather feedback from stakeholders and users, iterating and adapting the product as necessary to deliver maximum value.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

MUST: Excellent command of English amp; French Language: Reading, Writing, Speaking

  • You have at least 4+ years of experience in a comparable role in a fast-growing/scale-up environment where you have worked on a variety of projects. Ideally in a role within our industry
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master /Product Owner in the fintech or startup space
  • Strong understanding of agile principles, values, and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, etc) with the ability to apply them effectively in various contexts.
